Yes, that's right Ewen. It was slightly downhill too, so it was easy to pick up the pace. It was the only section of the run where Richard Faulks and Alan Towill didn't have to wait for me. Not that they often chose to.
There are still heaps of kangaroos in that area, despite the lack of shade.
That looks like the long section from Uriarra Rd down to Padovans. Used to be shaded by towering pine trees! Beautiful surface for running :)

When we ran the Cotter on 30th December, there was NO flowing water at Padovans, although the puddle downstream of the crossing had a little water.
